QUADRAT DTP is delighted to announce the advertisement of 7 new interdisciplinary studentships commencing in October 2023!
In addition to the 20 traditional QUADRAT studentships we recruited to earlier this year; we are now launching a further 7 exciting interdisciplinary studentships! All 7 studentships are fully funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and are scheduled to commence 01 October 2023, alongside cohort 5.
These projects are a little different to our regular QUADRAT studentships – they aim to broaden the scope of QUADRAT through cross-disciplinary collaboration. They combine a mixture of expertise from different disciplines, to tackle unique range of critical environmental challenges.

Although rooted in the core QUADRAT disciplines of Biological and Geo- sciences, these new interdisciplinary studentships push the boundaries of research, and require a broader skillset and area of interest. As such, they may be of particular interest to students in the following subject areas:
