Our colleague, Dr Dirk Brandherm of the School of Natural and Built Environment, Queen’s University Belfast, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Irish Archaeology, the leading journal in the field reflected in its title, published by Wordwell (Dublin) for the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland.
Dirk brings an international outlook to the journal, while at the same time continuing to defend its independence from large international publishers. If you would like to know more please see:
