Event Information
Not only does waste ruin the beauty of Aberdeen beach it puts animals at harm. Thousands of animals become trapped, suffocated and severely hurt by single use plastic and other items of rubbish abandoned by the sea. We aim to clean up as much of the beach and its surrounding area as we can to protect all animals (especially sea animals), maintain the beauty of Aberdeen beach and to ensure all waste is recycled if possible.
Our clean up will start at 11am and finish at 3pm, you do not have to stay for the full length of the clean up as any help would be greatly appreciated.
Meeting point will be at the heritage anchor.
