Key Research Interests
- Deep marine sedimentary systems: Contourite depositional systems, and their interaction with mixed alongslope-downslope systems.
- Ocean Currents: Controls of climate, ocean gateways and seafloor morphology on deep ocean currents.
- Sequence Stratigraphy: understanding the source to sink and sediment transport across continental margins.
- Geohazards: controls on submarine landslides and their impact.
- Petroleum exploration: Identifying and risking plays within under-explored basins, and new play concepts within mature basins.
